Bahía de los Volcanes · by Heaven Hospitality is located in Chuitinamit, Santiago Atitlán, Sololá, Guatemala, nestled on the slopes of San Pedro Volcano and directly on the shores of Lake Atitlán.

Our location is an essential part of the experience.

With the slopes of San Pedro Volcano rising behind the property and Lake Atitlán stretching out in front, Bahía de los Volcanes occupies a secluded lakeside setting where mountain, forest, and water come together.

There is no road access to the property. Bahía de los Volcanes is accessible exclusively by boat, allowing you to leave conventional travel behind and experience Atitlán from a completely different perspective.

Here, the volcano is behind you, the lake is in front of you, and nature surrounds you.

⛵ Getting Here via Panajachel

For many travelers, Panajachel is the main gateway to Lake Atitlán.

From Panajachel, take one of the public boats across the lake to Santiago Atitlán. The public boat fare is approximately Q35 per person, each way, paid directly to the local boat operator and subject to change.

Don't think of this simply as transportation.

Your crossing from Panajachel is your first Atitlán experience — traveling across the lake alongside residents and other travelers, surrounded by volcanoes while discovering the communities and landscapes along its shores.

🚤 Santiago Atitlán → Bahía de los Volcanes

Once you arrive in Santiago Atitlán, your journey continues to Bahía de los Volcanes.

For registered guests, Bahía de los Volcanes provides the final boat connection between Santiago Atitlán and the property, available during our operating hours from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This final boat connection is included with your stay.

Transportation to Santiago Atitlán — including the public boat from Panajachel — is not included in your stay.

🕐 Plan Your Arrival

Because Bahía de los Volcanes is accessible exclusively by water, your arrival time must be coordinated with our Reservations team in advance.

For safety and operational reasons, guest boat connections between Santiago Atitlán and the property are not available outside the established operating hours of 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Before your arrival, our team will provide meeting instructions so we can meet you in Santiago Atitlán and complete the final part of your journey to the property.

Getting here isn't just a transfer. It's part of the experience.
